Who runs this
DonPiston is run by Spriced Deal LLC. Write to support@donpiston.com with any question about your data.
This website
No accounts, no forms, no cookies, no analytics. Fonts and images come from this site itself. Cloudflare hosts it and, like any host, handles technical data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the pages.
The program
It reads your car and keeps what it reads on your computer: reports, logs and answers. A saved read may include the car's VIN. None of this reaches us unless you send it to us yourself.
AI analysis
When you press the button to ask the model, the car's series, the faults, the values and your own words go to Anthropic, which runs the model, under Anthropic's privacy policy. The VIN and raw bus traces are not sent. Nothing goes without your press.
If you write to us
Email reaches us through Cloudflare and Google. We keep your address and your message for as long as it takes to answer you, and delete them when you ask.
What is planned
Accounts, payments and a cloud history of your cars are planned. Before any of that starts, this page will say what is collected, why and for how long, and you will be asked where your consent is needed.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and complain to your data protection authority. Today we hold nothing beyond your emails to us.
