The program
DonPiston reads diagnostic data from BMW cars over an ENET cable and helps you make sense of it. It is provided by Spriced Deal LLC. It is independent: BMW AG has nothing to do with it.
Your car
Use it on cars you own or have permission to test. Tests with the engine running: parked, in P, handbrake on, in the open air, nobody at the pedal. Full-load pulls: only where it is legal and safe, with someone else at the laptop. Never operate the program while driving. If the program or the laptop stops during a test, switch the engine off.
What changes in the car
Clearing faults and service resets change what the car's modules store. Some cost smoothness or shift quality until the car has learned again, so run them only with the repair they belong to.
The AI
The model's answers are suspicions, not diagnoses, and they can be wrong. Confirm them mechanically before you replace anything or rely on them.
No guarantee
The program is in early development and is provided as it is, without warranty. It may misread or misjudge. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage to a vehicle, lost data or costs that come from using it. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer by law.
